Old Bridge
Watercolor on 140-lb. paper, 11"x14".
This painting is based on a photo I took at High Rock lake, North Carolina. I cropped the photo to improve the composition. The metal mesh to the right of the rail road was done with masking. The rest of the bridge was done using multiple layerings.
This painting was juried to participate in 2010 Watercolor Society of North Carolina Annual Exhibition and exhibited at Hickory Museum of Art. It is currently in private collection.

Dawn at Mersing, Malaysia
Watercolor, 11"x15", on 140 lb. paper.
This painting depicts a scene of the famous fishing port in east coast Malaysia. I was vacationing there with a group of young friends many years ago when I witnessed this magic scene early one morning.
Now many years later and thousands of miles away, I still cherish the memory of this magic moment and could not wait to put it on paper.
