Dream

Acrylic, 16"x20", on canvas.
In this painting I went deeper into the color-texture-and-outline experiment. The weired looking figures on the skirt were inspired by ancient Chinese artwork during Shang period (about 4000 to 5000 years ago).

Microscopic World - Abstract

Mixed Media, 12"x12", on 1-3/4" deep cradled wood board.
This abstract work was created using successive layers of thin gesso on a black background. I used only subdued colors so that the texture created by gesso won't be over-ridden. I am quite excited about the result.
